Mentoring features works by 10 Fort Point artist/educators and their students from local schools, colleges and institutions:
Artists who teach share their understanding of the artistic process. They guide their students through explorations, present problems and coach them to craft their ideas into visual solutions. Sometimes during this process a special interest is taken, a special bond is formed, and a teacher becomes a mentor.
The show features works by:
Ivan Fernandez-Gonzalez, Heidi Kayser, Lisa Knox, Cat Mazza, Mary McCarthy, Amy MacDonald, Jose Santos, Karen Stein, Christine Vaillancourt, Jennifer Wood, and selected students
